Kind of an optical illusion here. I saw a photo of the star in this photo and imagined it to be in the middle of the cathedral. I had no idea how they got it in there. When I saw it its actually quite small but its close to the camera so it seems huge.

In other news, and rather surprisingly, this site has won the 2008 Photoblog Award for ‘Best European Photoblog’. I was really really shocked to get the email today. Totally unexpected. I’m still in shock. I have to thank you all for voting, for stopping by, and for commenting on the blog. Its been a great year and thank you for ending it on a high. You should really check out the other finalists and winners because there’s some damn fine photography there, which makes it even more surprising to win.
