I’m not a wedding photographer. Weddings just don’t excite me like capturing a random moment on the street, or insanely stunning architecture. That said, it’s hard not to get caught up in them when there’s lots of lovely little moments being played out in front of you.
My girlfriend and I were invited to the wedding of Billy and Sarah Jane Fallows a few months ago. It was a lovely service complete with a guy using a Polaroid camera. I liked that the priest said “No cameras” during the service. Let the wedding photographer worry about the photos. You lot enjoy the wedding. Nice. The reception was at the awesome Leaf and the couple had kitted it out with a few extras. If you’ve been upstairs at Leaf recently you’ll have noticed the mirror balls. Perfect for a wedding party. The wedding photographer, Mina Bihi, setup a studio in the corner for kids to dress up and have their photograph taken. Naturally the adults helped. So like I said, I couldn’t help but take a few photos.
