Over the water #1

Yesterday morning was lovely in Liverpool. Sunny, blue skies and bits of cloud. Not too cold either. The afternoon was overcast and boring till around 10 minutes before sunset when golden light was cast across the city. So I grabbed my gear and headed to the ferry in the hope that there would be something to get. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the ferry and I had 10-12 minutes before the sun would set. I was being ambitious but it turned out to be so worth it. It was one of those sunsets that got better after the sun had gone down. Over the next few days I’m going to share the journey over the water on the Mersey Ferry Snowdrop.
