On Saturday I decided to try some shoot from the hip style street photography. For the most part I took a lot of very bad photos. However one or two did work. Its complete pot luck. All you’re doing is pushing the shutter button when something looks right. Whether its in any way composed well is another matter. Kinda like it though. f/8, iso800 or higher so I don’t get motion blur walking around and focus to near infinity. There are photos were you can see it almost works. People are sharp, real emotions are captured but they’re just a bit off. Perhaps too wide at 10mm. 18.75 is technically 30mm on a 1.6x body so I plan to try around there for a tighter image.
