I have visited Anfield a few times over the years to pay my respects and to document the event. This year I went to meet people and find out what it means to them. Most said they were there because they had to be. They had to pay their respects. Others because they had a personal connection. There is massive love, respect and support here for the families who lost people 25 years ago. They aren’t walking alone. The city, the country is behind them.
