Eye on things

This was a hard photo to take. When using extension tubes its tricky as to whether they’ll focus or not due to the very shallow depth of field. So using the Canon 50mm f/1.8 without USM and extension tubes means it hunts, a lot. 1 hour later and I got a shot I was happy with. Typically the weather has been rubbish today so I played with this concept. Now I’ve finished the shot and the weather has cleared up. You can just about make out the houses across the road. I feel like this isn’t the best shot I could get with this concept. I’ve seen plenty of great eye shots and I plan to get one, sometime. I’ve got a few shots I need to get done in Liverpool before they take down the Xmas lights. Stay tuned.
