Coal Drops Yard in London was originally constructed to receive coal from the North of England. Later it was used for nightclubs up until the 1990s when it fell into disuse. Today it has been reimagined by Heatherwick Studios as shops and cafes. There’s a nice little coffee shop tucked away in there not far from a good little design store that sells Midori products.
