Aurora borealis? At this time of year! At this time of day! In this part of the country! Localized entirely within your kitchen?!? Absolotely possible thanks to artist Dan Acher who brought their light installation, Borealis, to Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock. It was stunning. At first I thought it was too windy to be effective but over time I saw the beauty in the randomness of it all. Hard to photograph, but interesting to watch. Just like the real aurora. I’m so glad I got to see this work and look forward to seeing new work by Dan in the future.
