Sacre-Coeur
A very popular place in Montmartre, Paris. At dusk lots of people gather on the steps to drink wine, eat crepes and watch the city come alive. Its a beautiful experience totally tarnished by touts trying to sell you beer and keyrings every other minute. They should be banned so people can enjoy these places…

Spotlight
After a really lovely 2 days in Nantes we headed off to Paris. On the way to the station I stopped for a few street shots as the light was perfect. One simple beam of light creating a spotlight for people to walk into. So this is that moment when the spotlight was on them.
The Eiffel Tower in Paris
How could I not get a photo of the Eiffel Tower? There’s an obvious shot that I took during the day, but I wanted something else. I wanted my photo of the Eiffel Tower. You can see other takes on this shot and other photos in my Paris gallery on my new portfolio.
Nantes

The Louvre – II
Simply stunning architecture. We didn’t get that much time to really explore as I didn’t want to miss the outside at dusk, and there’s so many angles just outside. Have to go back for another play. I appreciate everyones comments on my new portfolio site. I’m making a few design tweaks to fix IE7 bugs…
