On now at World Museum Liverpool is a fascinating exploration of mythological gods. It was a lot of fun to have a sneak peak of the space before it opened and photograph the gods for the museum.
It was a little tricky to photograph due to the bright statues, darker spaces and colourful halos. Using HDR techniques I was able to get a balanced image that looked natural. Thankfully HDR has come a long way and it’s very easy to create a natural looking photograph with the technique. Time consuming, but worth it for complex lighting situations. Maybe I need a medium format camera?
The exhibition is on till 25th Feb, 2024 and there are a series of relaxed sessions for those who need one.
