Today is the day that the Shanghai Palace closes. The old Ferry terminal and restaurant can now be demolished and the new one can be built. I won’t really miss them, but they were in some way photogenic. The lovely curves on the ferry terminal were very nice for sunsets. When the light hit them just right you could get really nice shots. I quite liked this one myself for the contrast. Curves vs angles. White vs black. As they say, you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone. I only took photos of it when I knew it was going to be destroyed.
Tomorrow I will launch the new site. I’m fairly sure everything works on it. Big day tomorrow really.
