I didn’t get to see the big event as the Olympic Torch passed through Liverpool as I was in Birkenhead photographing the flotilla of ships.  However, a few days earlier I was asked to photograph the rehearsal at Liverpool Cathedral. I heard over 20,000 people attended the event in Liverpool and from what I saw it must have been a great event. What a space to rehearse though!
