This weekend sees the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic. I was out at 6am this morning on HMS Trumpeter in stupidly windy conditions hanging on for dear life while my cameras were battered by rain and hail. It was epic. I’m hoping for a nice calm sunny weekend now.

Today saw the arrival of HMS Bulwark, HMS Pembroke, and FGS Gromitz. A number of P2000’s were out to greet the fleet. On Tuesday a huge fleet of 21 ships will leave Liverpool.
