As part of this years Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) Seven Streets is bringing together musicians from France, Russian and the to create a unique piece of music in response to WW1. The piece is called “You are here“. It’s £5 a ticket and will be at the beautiful Palm House. It’ll be one of the more unique events at this years festival and well worth seeing.
I was asked to photograph one of the groups, Moongai, while they were in town. They’re a French electro-pop duo. Right after finishing the shoot we got stuck in torrential rain so had to take refuge inside the cathedral to enjoy scones, tea and talk about music. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon at all.
