On Thursday, the 2nd day of La Machine, La Princesse was removed from Concourse Tower. She was placed on the back of a lorry and slowly transported through town. They struggled a little with all the speed bumps, often driving on the pavement. Eventually they reached the Albert Dock and everyone came out to see the giant spider. Typically just as they arrived a thunderstorm appeared and soaked everyone. We were greeted by Joseph Browning, a scientist with La Machine who explained what was going on. At night La Princesse was serenaded with music and rested in preparation for her big day.
