I was out last night and it was a nice sunset. Not great, but nice. However after taking 3 shots, running them through Photomatix and then through Photoshop somehow it became a stunning sunset. Look at those clouds! I don’t remember them being like that. Its incredible just how much detail Photomatix adds to the shot. This is the old landing stage at the Pier Head. They’ve got this barge with an 8 tonne weight on it. They drop the weight onto the old stage and that’s it. I’m not sure whats going to happen after this but for now its a giant hammer smashing up parts of the old stage.
