Queen Victoria and confetti
There are some days when my job requires me to stand at the banks of a river on a sunny day and watch a huge cruise ship sail off. Man that was a lovely evening on Tuesday. I was commissioned by Cruise Liverpool to capture the event.
P&O Cruise Ship Britannia visits Liverpool
P&O’s latest cruise ship the MV Britannia is the largest of its kind and one of the largest ships to visit Liverpool. The engines generate the same power as 86 Bugatti Veyrons. She’s 15 meters shorter than QM2 and 2 meters shorter. So not the biggest cruise ship to visit the city but certainly pretty big.

3 Queens Liverpool – Day 2
The second day of the 3 Queens event in Liverpool saw the arrival of Cunard liner Queen Mary 2 (QM2). There was street theatre to entertain the crowds during the day and the evening saw the stunning projection ‘Amazing Graces’ on the three graces followed by fireworks over the river.
