I was commissioned by National Museums Liverpool to photograph the anchor outside the Maritime Museum being moved to a new home while the museum is being renovated. Having first visited the museum in the 1980s, I’ve seen and photographed the anchor many times. Never while it was levitating though. There is a timelapse of the event, that I produced, after the photography.
