The Macula Spectacular is a stunning event brought to Liverpool by Czech Republic company The Macula. It features 3D projections on the Liver Building and the new Museum of Liverpool. The projection on the museum is a lot like the Amon Tobin ISAM live projection. It’s incredibly cool. The one for the Liver Building is more about the history of Liverpool, after a fashion. I loved the way it had La Machine crawling around the Liver Building like a Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell.
It’s on again tonight and tomorrow night too. Go see it.
