The cruise ship Celebrity Infinity docked at the cruise terminal over the weekend so people could visit the Open in Hoylake. Storms were predicted and I secretly hoped for lightning during the firework display. A crazy idea in all honesty as it would have made getting any photos almost impossible. I was lucky that there was only very light rain, but still had to wipe the lens every couple of minutes. I was even luckier to get the above panorama. There was a bit of rain in the photos but luckily not over anything that couldn’t be cloned out. Phew!
The cruise terminal crew keep pulling out all the stops. Such a joy to work with.
