Cars and busses driving around a normal town street. On the corner is a pub. In the distance is a tunnel ventalation tower. Further in the distance is the Liverpool skyline.

Architecture, Birkenhead, commission, photography, Wirral, z6

Commissioned in the summer by Wirral Council, I was asked to wander around Birkenhead on a nice day to produce a series of photographs for a master plan document. I met people, meandered and walked miles. Lovely day.

Office buildings on a sunny day. There are grass verges outside and a few parked cars.
An old factory with a tall chimney. There are green plants growing from various spots on the building.
A rundown looking building with windows boarded up and shutters on the door. People walk past.
A person in green trousers and a white top walks past an orange tinted brutalist styled building on a sunny day.
Above a brick wall sits a multicoloured hut with the word Make on. A large tree is above that.
A variety of buildings near an old train station. There are people waiting at the bus stops.
A pub called the Riverview sits next to a building with a murial on. The murial is of a ship sinking in stormy waters with the words "Women and children first".
A curved row of red brick terraced houses. Each has 3 chimneys.
A posh looking building with tall columns on the front stretching from the 1st to 2nd floor.
